City Kiosk is a public service designed to provide immediate access to grocery produce for citizens at a lower price. These kiosks would be placed around city areas or town with high foot traffic and people purchase these groceries based on its “sell by date”, the closer to the date, the lower the cost. The produce is provided by nearby grocery stores who are participating in this program and have already set aside produces to be part of this pricing system. There is a touchscreen display for customers to pick and select the items they wish to purchase. If the item they are looking for is not in the Kiosk, the customer can request for this item from a nearby participating grocery store. Once the customer has finished with their selection, a built-in dumbwaiter will dispense their groceries or their grocery will be delivered to the designated Kiosk or a customize address.

Upon brainstorming some guiding questions were raised, is it possible to create a design that includes a wider range of users from different income groups? How does the design avoid creating any social stigma of a certain demographic? By having the cost of produce
